Care instructions
Always test an offcut or sample prior to working the leather with tools, adhesives or heat. To ensure the leather print on your product is as durable as possible, we’ve worked hard refining our printing process and craftsmanship. As leather is a natural material you may notice small differences in surface and texture, as well as wrinkles, which is common to products made from natural leather. All leathers age naturally according to the usage, and this can cause the print to wrinkle or fade slightly over time. It is possible the base colour may show through the leather as it ages with wear. When not in use we recommend storing your product in a protective dust bag or box to keep your product looking its best. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat, sunlight, water, and chemical cleaners to maintain a bright and long-lasting print. Avoid contact with light coloured fabrics or upholstery as the colour may transfer. Whilst a light rain shower is unlikely to harm, we recommend protecting from rain. Should your product get wet, allow to dry naturally away from direct heat. To clean surface wipe only with a damp lint free cotton cloth.
Your personalized baguette bag is made primarily from your choice of smooth or bubble textured Nappa leather. The accents, such as the zip pull, piping, and hardware loops are all made from smooth black Nappa. The bag is available with a short grab strap (13" - 16.5" long) made from the same Nappa, or with a longer shoulder strap (36.6" to 58" long) made from a webbing material with Nappa on the ends. There are three hardware finishes to choose from including gold, nickel, and gunmetal, so choose whichever one you like best. You'll also be able to choose which color you want the finishing thread to be.
Using our expertise, we print your photos right onto the leather to bond the ink to the material. The colors will look bold and bright and full of life without peeling or fading over time. The leather is shaped and stitched together, and the black Suede Vision fabric is added to create the lining. We add the details and hardware to create a fully functional bag that looks beautiful. Our quality control team checks your printed baguette bag and photo gifts before we send them to you.
There are three panels to design on your personalized baguette bag: the front, back, and middle. The front and back are perfect for displaying your photos. We recommend keeping photos and subjects centered to prevent important parts from getting obstructed. The middle panel connects both sides and can be designed as well, although we recommend using solid colors or patterns for this area as photos may not fit.
