Ella waterproof is a super lightweight fabric, weighing in at only 2.21 oz/yd², the breathable waterproof is 4.57 oz/yd², so it classifies as a mid-weight material. Perfect for when the weather gets frosty. The breathable waterproof is graced with a slightly stiffer handle than the Ella, making it feel more coat-like. Both of these fantastic fabric options have a special coating, making them 100% breathable as well as being certified waterproof. So if you want a custom rain jacket that doubles as a coat, go for the breathable waterproof. If you're just looking to keep the rain off of you, then the Ella waterproof is a great choice.
