Care instructions

Off-the-shelf fixed dimensions don't always work, especially if you're making custom curtains for a unique purpose. We make bespoke sizes to suit anything from small windows to even stage curtains for the theater. Using your photos, graphic designs or artwork, this home furnishing is totally personal to you.
Step 1: Measure
You need to carefully measure the area where you want the curtains to cover and consider if you need a pair or just one (or multiples). But you don't simply take that measurement, as your curtains will look like a flat sheet against the window when pulled to. You need to account for the pleats/ruffles/fullness. Typically, for a tape heading, this is 2x the area, and 1.8x the area for eyelets. For example, if your window is 39.37" (1m) wide, you need approx 78.74" (2m) of fabric, so make sure you calculate this before you enter your dimensions.
Step 2: Choose your Hanging Style
We offer the choice of wire hanging 0.59" (1.5cm) flat tube to fit 0.15" (4mm) cord (photo 1), pencil heading tape 2.95" (7.5cm) /3" (photo 2) or eyelets (photo 3). Our eyelets are either 1.57" (40mm) or 2.56" (65mm) (internal diameter) in silver or black. You need to arrange your own pole and take into consideration the size and positioning to allow the right amount of curtain you need. Our tape heading is a strong strip of curtain heading that allows you to use your existing runners and hook your new curtains onto the rail nice and easily. If you are replacing old curtains is it easy to measure the existing curtains and use those dimensions if they were a good fit.
Step 3: Choose your Lining
We have 4 options for curtain linings; unlined, blackout lining, 1 layer lining and 3 layer interlining.
Step 4: Upload your Photos
Once you know the dimensions you are ready to design in our system. Simply add the graphic, edit it, rearrange it etc so it's exactly how you want it and we will do the rest.
NB: We can print any size, however, for widths over 59", we may need to produce the curtain from multiple panels, stitched together. We will contact you via email to get your confirmation before we print and produce.
Our materials for making our custom curtains are of the highest quality. The textile we use for the curtain is called Suede Vision, and has a built-in blackout backer. Not only is it great to the touch, but it is fire rated. But the best part about our curtains is the stunning print that we are able to provide. We use edge to edge printing techniques so that you have an all over color print with no leftover white space.
We are able to produce any size curtains for that perfect, custom fit in your home. For example, you can have specialty short curtains or custom long curtains. Any way you want them, we are able to make them.
However, please keep in mind that accurate and precise dimensions are crucial to the outcome of the curtain. Be sure to accurately measure the window, doorway, or space that is to be filled by the curtain to that you end up with the best quality curtain possible. Remember: measure twice, cut once!
Please note: We advise to consider an additional 0.39" (1cm) of fabric all around, for hemming and in the case of fabric shrinkage. Fabric shrinkage can be 2-6%, so please consider this when designing your printed curtains. If you select our fire-rated lining or blackout lining your curtains will weigh more.
TIP:If you want to calculate the amount of textile you need, you have to allow for the ruffle, the pleats or the fullness. Fullness is 2 x the area for tape heading and 1.8 x the area for eyelets. This is a calculation you need to make BEFORE you design you curtains. ONLY enter your dimensions in our design system when you know the correct dimensions fullness have been evaluated.
Your design is printed onto the front of the custom curtains using an up to date digital printing technique, which bonds the design deep into the fibers of the fabric. We use eco-friendly inks that produce a rich and detailed print designed to last for years to come.
Craftsmen then cut your curtain fabric to your specified size before our seamstresses hem and finish your printed curtains.

From Toy Story curtains and comic book hero designs to fairy princesses and cute puppies, you can really let your imagination go wild. Your dressing room curtains can be printed in your company logo, or choose imagery to suit your services, such as fashion for a clothing boutique or tattoo designs for your tattoo parlor.
